Time to build. This covers creating coordinated ad strategies that serve a business objective, whether that's more profit or more visibility. Because Astra's campaigns share data, they reinforce each other rather than competing.
Creating a strategy
- Select your ad type. Start with Sponsored Product ads — the most effective way to drive sales and traffic on Amazon.
- Name your strategy, based on the product or category you're advertising.
- Pick your algorithm (see below).
- Set your budget — daily or monthly depending on the algorithm. This is what Astra optimizes against for cost efficiency.
- Select your products. Choose the ASINs you want to advertise, or add product groups to move faster.
- Click "Create Strategy". Astra begins optimizing against the algorithm you chose.
Which algorithm to choose
- Constant Fixed Bid — best for new products with little data or few sales. Set a higher average bid initially to gain traction and gather data.
- Monthly Budget — ideal for scaling products with steady sales, optimizing for sales volume inside a set budget.
- ACoS Target — for maximizing profit against a specific ACoS goal. Reduce your target gradually — 3–5% at a time — to tighten margins without choking the campaign.
Astra syncs with your historical data, so even ads you ran before joining the platform inform how it optimizes from day one.
